They will appreciate the value of the whole school approach to global learning and will feel empowered to promote the implementation of this.

Next Course date: Friday 10 March 2017 and Friday 24 March (2 day course). Full day £250 or ‘free’ for schools who have GLP credits to spend.

Outdoor Adventures!

Craven DEC is partnering with Gina Parker, and for the full day course RHS Harlow Carr, to offer an exciting new training opportunity for teachers from schools who want to expand their outdoor learning and education. Gina, who has worked in Outdoor Education, as a KS2 teacher and within global education for the past twenty years and now has her own company ‘Little Chatters’ www.littlechatters.co.uk will facilitate both courses. She will introduce approaches for use in the outdoors to explore global themes and as a result teachers will acquire an expanded menu of practical and interactive approaches to earth education. They will feel confident about adapting and using these with their pupils to introduce global themes, skills and outlooks.
